As per tradition in the MKT office, we like to celebrate the end of a great year (or the end of the first half of the financial year) with a Secret Santa. Except instead of gifting each other presents, we want to make a meaningful contribution to our community by being a ‘Santa’ to those who are unfortunately unable to afford a very Merry Christmas.
Everyone deserves a grand and brilliant Christmas, right?
We decided to donate to the Orana House who are dedicated in providing a refuge for families who have been affected by domestic abuse while in search of finding a permanent new home.
The gifts we donated to Orana House were delivered to their SWitCH centre in Noranda, safe and sound.
We brought in gifts for children of various age ranges, from babies to teens to young adults! Also don’t worry, we didn’t forget about the parents!
Thank you to our MKT staff for going out on their own and thoughtfully choosing gifts that these families would cherish!
