Recently the team supported and attended The Pirate Ship Foundation’s 2025 BrainChild Ball to the theme of Greece – “Filotomo”.
Filotimo (or philotimo) is a Greek concept roughly translating to “love of honor”, encompassing a range of virtues, including integrity, selflessness, deep gratitude, kindness, and a strong sense of duty to one’s family, community, and country. This concept was front and centre that evening at the Pirate Ship Foundation’s premiere fundraising event where funds raised go towards supporting vital research into childhood brain cancer research programs, such as the Brain Tumour Research Program at the Telethon Kids Institute in Perth.
