MKT Taxation Advisors Team supported and attended The Pirate Ship Foundation’s BrainChild Ball 2024 to the theme of Madagascar – Minoa “Believe”.
The BrainChild Ball, founded by the amazing Victoria Fitzgerald, is one of the fundraising events for The Pirate Ship Foundation and raises funds to support vital research into childhood brain cancer. Funds are invested directly into childhood brain cancer research programs, including the Brain Tumour Research Program at the Telethon Kids Institute in Perth.

One of the key highlights of the BrainChild Ball is its primary purpose – raising funds for the BrainChild Fellowship. This Fellowship is currently held by Dr. Raelene Endersby, co-head of the Brain Tumour Research Team at the Telethon Kids Institute. The Fellowship’s focus on paediatric brain cancer research is nothing short of remarkable.
During the event, we were deeply inspired by the stories of children whose lives have been transformed by the foundation’s work. That’s why, during this special event, our team decided to make an additional donation to the Pirate Ship Foundation to support the BrainChild Fellowship’s vital research efforts.
